"What a surprise this place is. We were passing through town, staying at a local hotel and pulled into the Rustic Oak. Honestly, we thought twice before going in as it is situated around a strip mall. We even thought about grabbing a drink and leaving when we sat at the bar, but Kia, the friendly bartender who was also balancing tables in the dining room was so kind, served drinks quickly and made us feel really welcome. The bar area is cozy and warm. I'm glad we stayed because the food, service and drinks were really good! I ordered the Rustic Oak Strip Steak and it did not disappointed. It was cooked exactly as I ordered and so tender. The baked potato was cooked to perfection (not a single piece of tough skin and served hot!). The green beans were unexpected in the best ways! My husband had a burger with onion rings and he was very happy. Give this little place a try -- you won't be disappointed!"
